Pelican Harbor Marina
A practical, in-town Miami-Dade County marina on Biscayne Bay—ideal for quick Bay/ICW cruising, easy launches, and fast access to Pelican Island’s nature preserve.
Pelican Harbor Marina is a Miami‑Dade County marina on Biscayne Bay near the 79th Street Causeway, known as a convenient “in‑town” base for boaters who want to be on the water fast without committing to a long run.
From here, you can cruise the Intracoastal/Biscayne Bay for sightseeing and waterfront stops, or pick an inlet for offshore access when conditions cooperate. It’s also one of the closest and easiest jumping‑off points for a short hop to Pelican Island, a nearby nature preserve and bird sanctuary.
If you’re planning a visit, call ahead for transient slip availability (limited), confirm depths for your draft, and be ready with dock lines and fenders for fixed docks.
