North Bay Village Marina

A convenient Biscayne Bay jump-off between Miami and Miami Beach, with quick routes to Haulover Inlet, bay cruising, and nearby sandbars. Call ahead for slip access and current on-site services.

“North Bay Village Marina” is a USGS/GNIS locale name used for the marina area along the North Bay Village waterfront. Boaters typically use it to refer to the docks and slips serving this stretch of Biscayne Bay.

The best-known, well-documented facility on the water here is Grandview Palace Marina on E Treasure Dr. It’s popular for its central location, straightforward bay access, and proximity to both Miami Beach sightseeing and offshore runs via the inlets.

Because many slips in the area can be privately owned or leased, transient space and amenities can vary. Plan ahead by calling to confirm availability, vessel limits, power/water, and any access/parking requirements.

Arrival tips for North Bay Village Marina

Call ahead to confirm where you should stage and which dock/slip you’re assigned to—this area can involve privately leased slips and building-managed access. Ask about LOA/beam limits, water depth at your slip, shore power (30/50A), and gate/key procedures. If north winds are up, be prepared for additional chop in exposed areas: rig fenders early, bring extra lines, and plan a controlled approach. If you’re timing an inlet run, check marine forecasts and consider arriving in daylight for a first visit.
