Aventura Marina
A protected-harbor marina with immediate Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway access—steps from shops and dining at Waterways Shoppes. Ideal for staging runs to nearby inlets or enjoying easy local ICW cruising.
Aventura Marina (also listed as Loggerhead Marina – Aventura Marina) is a sheltered basin marina located just off the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway (AIWW) in Aventura, Florida. The setting is known for convenient access to the ICW and a walkable, “dock-and-go” vibe thanks to its location by the Waterways Shoppes plaza.
Boaters use Aventura Marina as a comfortable stop for transient dockage, seasonal stays, or longer-term slips—especially when planning a mix of ICW cruising and offshore days. Its position between major ocean inlets makes it a practical staging point, while the protected harbor helps keep conditions calmer than open-water docks.
Because traffic, no-wake zones, bridge schedules, and tide can all affect timing in this stretch of the ICW, it’s smart to call ahead for slip assignment details, approach guidance, and the best arrival window for your vessel.

About This Marina
Aventura Marina is widely described as a protected-harbor marina with immediate access to the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway. The location stands out for how easy it is to step off the dock and into the Waterways Shoppes area for dining and errands, making it a convenient stop for cruising itineraries. Many boaters also choose it for its strategic positioning between common ocean-access points (notably Haulover Inlet and, farther north, Port Everglades Inlet), which can simplify planning for offshore runs depending on weather and route preferences.
Before you arrive, confirm your assigned slip, depth for your draft, and any approach notes. Local conditions, tide, and occasional silting can affect usable depth, so it’s best to verify details during booking.
