Mandarin Oriental Miami
A classic Biscayne Bay launch-point on Brickell Key—ideal for skyline cruises, island hopping, and day trips toward Key Biscayne. Note: the hotel closed May 31, 2025 and is planned to return as a reimagined project around 2030.
Mandarin Oriental Miami occupied a prime waterfront position on the southern tip of Brickell Key, looking straight out over Biscayne Bay. For boaters, that location is all about convenience: quick access to Downtown/Brickell sightseeing loops, the islands off Miami Beach, and longer runs toward Key Biscayne and beyond.
Trip-planning note: Mandarin Oriental, Miami closed on May 31, 2025 and is slated to return as a reimagined Mandarin Oriental + Residences project targeted for 2030. If you’re visiting the area today, plan your day around nearby public and private marinas for pickup/drop-off, and treat any on-property services as unavailable until reopening details are announced.
Even with the hotel closed, the site remains a highly recognizable point on the bay—and a useful reference when coordinating charters, meeting captains, or plotting routes around Brickell Key, Government Cut, and the broader Biscayne Bay boating playground.
