Last Updated: August 21, 2025
BoatPass Rewards ("Rewards Program" or the "Program") is a promotional loyalty program offered by BoatPass and governed by the following Terms and Conditions. Participation in the Program constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
1. Eligibility
1.1 Eligible Memberships.
A Member is eligible for automatic enrollment in BoatPass Rewards if their Membership meets both of the following criteria:
- Billing Frequency Requirement: The Membership must be billed on a Monthly, Quarterly (every 3 months), Semiannual (every 6 months), or Yearly cycle.
- Minimum Annual Usage Requirement: The Membership must include at least 12 Passes per year, regardless of billing frequency.
Examples of eligible plans include:
- 1 Pass per month (12 per year)
- 3 Passes every 3 months (12 per year)
- 6 Passes every 6 months (12 per year)
- 12 Passes per year (yearly billing)
1.2 Ineligible Memberships.
The following plans are not eligible for BoatPass Rewards:
- Any plan that results in fewer than 12 Passes per year (e.g., 6-pass annual plans)
- Bi-monthly or Quarterly plans where one Pass is issued per payment
- Any billing structure not aligned with the standard cycles listed above
- Any Membership that does not include at least 12 Passes annually
1.3 Good Standing Requirement.
To earn Stars, the Member must: (a) have an active Membership, and (b) be in Good Standing, meaning all dues are paid and the account has no outstanding balance.
Paused, delinquent, canceled, or inactive memberships do not earn Stars.
2. Earning Stars
2.1 Star Issuance.
Eligible Members receive one (1) Star on the first day of each calendar month, provided their Membership is active and in Good Standing on that day.
2.2 Streak Requirement.
A Member must earn 10 consecutive Stars (ten months in a row) to qualify for a Free Trip Reward.
2.3 Loss of Streak.
If a Member fails to earn a Star in any month, the Member's streak resets to zero and all Stars accumulated in that streak are forfeited.
3. Free Trip Reward: Category, Hours & Value
3.1 Qualification.
Upon earning 10 consecutive Stars, the Member becomes eligible to redeem one Free Trip Reward ("Reward").
3.2 Determination of Reward Value.
The Reward is determined based on the lowest-priced Membership Category the Member held at any point during the 10-Star streak, and the lowest number of hours associated with that category during the streak.
3.3 Reward Includes:
The Reward consists of a digital coupon representing the full value of one (1) trip in the eligible Membership Category and for the eligible number of hours determined under Section 3.2. The coupon value corresponds to the cost of a standard trip in the applicable category and duration and may be used solely to book that trip.
3.4 Reward Issuance.
Once 10 consecutive Stars are earned, the Member must redeem their Reward through the Member Portal. Upon redemption, BoatPass will issue and email the Member a digital Reward coupon equal to the value of one trip in the eligible Membership Category and for the eligible number of hours determined under Section 3.2.
3.5 Booking Process.
Reward trips must be scheduled through a BoatPass concierge via written communication (email, text message, or WhatsApp). Reward trips cannot be booked directly online.
3.6 Non-Combining Rule.
Rewards cannot be combined with any other offers, promotions, discounts, credits, or upgrades. They may only be redeemed for a single trip as defined in these Terms.
3.7 Non-Transferability.
Rewards are non-transferable, have no cash value, and cannot be sold, exchanged, or converted into credit.
4. Program Limitations
4.1 BoatPass may deny issuance or redemption of a Reward if the Member engages in misuse, fraud, manipulation, or activity inconsistent with these Terms.
4.2 Stars have no monetary value and cannot be transferred, purchased, gifted, combined, or redeemed for cash.
4.3 BoatPass is not responsible for lost, deleted, or misplaced Reward emails, though replacements may be issued at its discretion.
5. Program Modifications
BoatPass may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Rewards Program at any time, including changes to eligibility rules, Star issuance, reward value, or redemption requirements. Modifications will not affect Rewards already earned prior to the change.
6. Interpretation
BoatPass retains full authority to interpret these Terms and Conditions and to make final decisions regarding eligibility, Star issuance, streak validity, reward qualification, and redemption.

Annual $5,000 Global BoatPass Experiences Credit - Members are eligible for up to $5,000 in Credits each year to use toward Global BoatPass Experiences. Credits may be applied only to Global BoatPass Experiences trips of 7+ consecutive days, at a rate of $500 per day. Credits cannot be transferred or combined with other promotions and cannot be carried over to future years.
BoatPass Rewards – BoatPass Rewards is available only to Members on monthly or yearly plans. See BoatPass Rewards for full Terms and Conditions.
Rollover – Any unused Passes automatically roll over to the next month and don't expire as long as you remain a Member in Good Standing.
Guaranteed Availability - If you book more than 7 days in advance, we guarantee that at least one boat in your Category or a higher Category will be available on your desired date in any officially launched city. Holidays and holiday weekends are excluded from this guarantee.
Free Trip for Yearly Membership - A Pass will be manually added to your account within one business day of joining the yearly Membership. This Pass can be used to book a boat in the same Category and for the same trip length as your Membership.
Special Dates Bookings - There are no blackout dates. However, July 4th and December 31st may carry an additional fee for night timeslots due to seasonal market conditions (crew rates increase drastically on those dates). Similar adjustments may apply during certain local holidays or special events, depending on the city.
First Month Discount – The first-period introductory rate is a one-time welcome benefit designed to give new Members who have never experienced BoatPass a reduced first month as they begin their Membership. This introductory rate is offered exclusively to first-time Members who have not experienced BoatPass before and is limited to one per household for the lifetime of the account. If eligibility requirements are not met, or if the offer is used in a manner inconsistent with this purpose, the Membership will be billed at the standard first-month rate. By joining, Member authorizes BoatPass to apply any required billing adjustments to the card on file.
Crew, Gas, Water & Ice – In compliance with U.S. Coast Guard regulations, a captain is provided only for commercial charters with six or fewer passengers. For bareboat charters (up to 13 passengers total, including the charterer and up to 12 guests), the charterer is responsible for selecting and hiring the crew. You may choose your crew from a list of options provided, and we can remit payment to the crew you select on your behalf using your Membership Dues. The charterer is also responsible for fuel. We can remit the fuel payment on your behalf using your Membership Dues. Local trips typically require no additional fuel, although longer-distance or non-local navigation may require an additional fuel charge. Likewise, the charterer is responsible for water and ice. We can remit these payments on your behalf using your Membership Dues.
